We've come to kirkcudbright for a few nights. Went here the first night and the locals were amazing. Although the bar staff were amazing, didn't think much of it. Went today and the landlady recognised us and even the drinks we wanted. Amazing service from her and watching her, she clearly loves her job and the locals, but the way she was with us she clearly loves visitors. What a lovely place. I'll definitely come back. Great bar. Lovely smart interior and friendly staff.From the outside, it looks like every other pub but don't be deceived. It's like a TARDIS. When you enter you immediately see that it is much bigger and smarter than expected. A wide range of drinks are all served with a smileI wish I'd gonr in earlier on my stay. I'll be back!

What a great pub, very friendly and a great choice of refreshments. Enjoyed a few real ales and then had a lovely local hills and harbour gin, they have over 200 gins to choose from!Will definately be visiting again when in the area.
