While this place isn't new and shiny - a little worn down, in fact - it was a nice surprise. Here were our thoughts:Firstly, there was room at this pub and once full, people were encouraged to wait instead of turned away, like lots of other places.Second, we were greeted and seated by a kind, thin man who checked in on us throughout the meal and helped us with the "self service" portion. We went two tea times one after the other as we enjoyed it so much. Apart from the lovely view, the food was absolutely yummy. I had the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties both nights, and my son loved the burgers. I also treated myself to a Cranachan which was delicious. A really good menu to choose from and the staff are all so nice, and the wine was good, its definitely one to go back to.

We visited the restaurant with our dog, who was made welcome too. The place was clean and the staff very friendly. We ordered fish and chips. Slightly expensive but well cooked and delicious. Could almost have come straight of the boat.
