We stayed in the accommodation next door and had dinner and breakfast here. Food was fantastic. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in any Hotel. I had the full breakfast and my Husband had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The staff are lovely and treated our dogs well. We have already recommended this place to family and friends.
There aren’t many options to eat in Kyleakin in November. We ate here on our first night. We won’t be back. The menu is very limited and I understand that business is quiet at this time of year but everything on the menu is clearly ‘can be cooked from frozen’ or has a long life. Our starters were the best thing (black pudding with halloumi and bacon). Our main courses were very disappointing. The service was okay. We just arrived at 9:05pm and the kitchen was closed but they managed to serve us and the food was great! We had cullen skink soup, traditional stake, stout and ale pie, soup of the day (sweet potato, buttenut & leek) and pork! Thank you for everything!
