Great homemade pub grub at wetherspoons prices, staff are so chatty and friendly and manager has a cracking personality and sense of humour! Is busy a lot of the time especially with food so need to be a bit patient sometimes but well worth it! Amazing banter, 5 stars will be back ? West coast IPA on tap ?
Family visit for lunch, everyone enjoyed their food. Steak pie (ordered small portion) was excellent and plenty food on the plate. Chilli appeared home made and was very good. Viking burger and toastie also very good. Excellent value £42 for 4 main courses, definitely be back. Only one comment, only 3 staff and had to queue to order food and drinks, pub was around half full.
