The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to my family (4 adults and 2 toddlers) they made the kids feel special and seen! I loved this. My food was good, but not extremely memorable. The meal did take a while to come to the table, but I can overlook all of this due to how accommodating and friendly the staff was.

First licensed in 1840, often referred to as Mattie Moore’s, who was the former owner in early days. My 3rd great grandfather Solomon Morris was born in Cairncastle 1812 and died Cairncastle 1888.No doubt he would have had a few pints or halfn’s in here.Lovely little traditional pub.
