A friend , his dog and I, stopped for the night at Abington services on the way up to Glencoe, and found this place nearby. The guy behind the bar (assume owner) was so friendly and welcoming. It was a hot day and he brought over iced water and a few treats for the dog. The beer was good too! We didn't eat there as it was late but the menu sounded good.This is a great, little old school country pub. Stopped in last night on our way to mull. Asked if it was dog friendly, they are VERY dog friendly and a lovely local even popped their dog back on lead when I said ours can be a bit worried around others. Had a lovely food and a very welcoming atmosphere. Cosy little pub, well worth the drive from the services or wherever you are stopping over.

Absolute gem of a pub! Really friendly staff and the locals are extremely welcoming! Try the fillet steak! It melts in your mouth! Compliments to the chef. Wonderful atmosphere. Lovely community with a lot of heart and kindness. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service. ?
