Church St, Wanlockhead, BiggarBeautiful little place with fantastic tasting food and fantastic scenery, with very quirky decor inside and out makes this pub stand out from the rest in a good way. Food was cooked to perfection and presented really well. Pleasent atmosphere and pleasent staff and a beautiful doggo to top it off

Colebrooke Arms
7 Main St, Crawfordjohn, BiggarFantastic little place. We stopped for a food break Aberdeen to Manchester and wanted to find something that was not a service station. We came off junction 11 A74m and joined back on at junction 13 so not too far detour. The pub was very welcoming with the chap who served us doing everything from welcome to cooking. The food was really nice and I had roast potatoes with my pie which were the best roast potatoes I have ever had! Hubby had a burger which was good too. Great prices, great food in a lovely warm proper pub. We will remember this for future trips. Thanks.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Welcome Break Abington, Junction 13, M74, Abington, BiggarWe stopped here on our drive from the Lake District to Stirling. In the states, we call these Rest Stops, but I love that in the UK, this was a Welcome Break! Makes me smile! We all needed bathrooms and lunch. I ate at Chopstix, which was tasty. My husband got the fish and chips from Harry Ramsden's and we grabbed something from Starbucks as well. The spot was very clean! We even found a 20 pound note on the ground. Lucky!
