Gunnista Rd, ShetlandSuperb cafe and just the place to sit and warm up post parkrun. Loved the time we spent here waiting for the ferry back to Lerwick and the staff were so friendly and attentive too. Strongly recommended!

Da Haaf Restaurant
Port Arthur Rd, Scalloway, ShetlandWe had dinner at Da Haaf last night and it was excellent.
The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into the dishes. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening.
A really enjoyable meal and a place we would happily recommend. We’ll definitely be back. ?

67 Commercial Rd, Lerwick, ShetlandA good local bar. When you go in the door, to the left is what we used to call the public bar (darts, pool, etc) and to the right what we used to call the saloon. Packed on a Saturday evening, but there's a lot of space and we were able to find a seat. The beers selection is disappointingly non-local (I had a Greene King Level Head, which I like, but it's come a long way).

Lerwick Brewery
Ladies Dr, Lerwick, ShetlandGreat experience. Self-booked tour of the brewery so not part of a quick stop. Jonny is the brewer and he was my tour guide. Doing a fine job as a small brewery with all packaging done offsite. One cask ale (oatmeal stout) and a handful of tap beers. Well done!

The Bay Brasserie
15 South Rd, Lerwick, ShetlandMy wife and I had dinner here and it's been one of the best culinary experiences I've had in Shetland.
Ordered the garlic prawn starter for myself, which was a suprisingly delicious combination of flavours.
The coulis / sauce makes me want to gesticulate with a chef's kiss.
My wife had the steak and I had the duck confit for the mains. The duck's a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy and the steak with the whisky cream sauce it comes with is briliant.
We'll definitely be returning, and everyone that I know that's been has only good things to say about the restaurant.

The chicken donair here is hands down the best in the entire Greater Vancouver area! Perfectly seasoned, always fresh, and bursting with flavor. Kantersted Rd, Sound, ShetlandA spontaneous decision to grab some dinner as driving past. Very busy and gentleman on counter advised a 45 minute wait, which was fine as I went for a wander nearby.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Would go again if I'm in the area.

The Skipidock Cafe
Toll Clock Shopping Centre, Lerwick, ShetlandIt's a cafeteria. Watched queues of people for fully cooked breakfastd. Having said that I had lunch and very good homemade soup.
Great (and I mean great) service from the ladies working there. Will go again.
