Accepted order on the website, got a delivery time, then cancelled on us 15 mins later. Will apparently receive a refund in 3-5 working days.. not great. It takes 20 seconds to phone a customer & at least offer an apology and explanation. Food is nice from here but what's the point if website accepts orders and you don't receive the food?Took my business to The New Joy instead, just 3 doors down from Peony. First and only time I will use this take away. Waited 1 hours 30 minutes from ordering to delivery. The beef in the beef curry was really soft and artificial tasting, the deep fried shredded chicken was gloopy with watery sauce. The chilli and salt chips were the biggest surprise as they appeared to be plain chips on first glance. There was literally two or three bits of chopped onion within and there was no salt or chilli flavour. I would have given 1 star had the food not still...read full review
