Jessie Biscuit
11 Station Rd, Milngavie, GlasgowWent to Jessie Biscuit yesterday with hubby and pouch. People serving were super friendly. Got high quality coffee' and a most delicious rhubarb and cherry cake. Coffee at the Wilsons
41, 43 Glasgow Rd, Blanefield, GlasgowWe LOVED Coffee at the Wilson’s. Food was great, service excellent and it was so cosy but still spacious inside. Enough room for prams and dogs to fit comfortably beside you if you needed too. Can’t believe we have just found this place after 4 years of being here! We are definitely regulars now. We had coffees, a toastie and the breakfast. Everything was delicious, very good portions, cooked just right with crispy bacon and the bread and filling were lovely.

Prego Coffee Shop
Platform 1, Milngavie Station, Station Rd, Milngavie, GlasgowThe guys working this morning were super friendly and welcoming. My chai was great and I was very grateful that the station had someplace to buy food and tea early in the morning. My friend liked that she was able to add her own sweetener to her coffee latte.Vegetarian options: They have a fried egg roll as a breakfast option.

The Tea Cosy
25 Douglas St, Milngavie, GlasgowReally cosy, friendly, local cafe with homemade bakes and lovely hot chocolate and coffees. Brought our niece and nephew to show them how service and food should be done. A bargain considering the quality.

Costa Coffee
7 Gavin's Mill Rd, Milngavie, GlasgowGREAT RETREAT FROM SHOPPING!\\nThis is a fairly spacious Costa unit within Tesco, Milngavie. Good food and great coffee as standard including the world's best caramel shortcake. What makes this a Go-To for me is the staff here. They are SO hard working, serving fairly constant customer demand throughout their day. Moreover, they are really super-efficient and always friendly. Costa you can be proud of your reps in this branch!

Charlies Coffee Bar
Craigallian Rd, Mugdock, GlasgowStaff were welcoming and very accommodating for my two year old daughter. Made her a babychino just the way she wanted. Warm (not hot) with some marshmallows and cream. Coffee was genuinely good too. The quirky feel of the interior made me feel right at home. Will be here for coffee every time I visit Mugdock Country Park.

Greggs
U10, 6 Douglas St, Milngavie, GlasgowIf you’ve read any of my other reviews you’ll know how fond I am of Greggs as a restaurant chain, this location is no different. Tacitly located at the start of the west highland way this shop doesn’t only off food and sweet treats to locals but also to hikers who are about to cross the west highland way.10/10 would recommend you come visit, at the very least just to get some of their top notch sweetener.Kid-friendliness: Most kid friendly restaurant in town!Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is wheelchair accessible.

Costa Coffee
8 - 10 Douglas St, Milngavie, GlasgowWe have been coming here for some time now. I will say it’s probably my favourite Costa due to the atmosphere, cosy inside and great staff. The location is great also, right next to the river. It has also recently been refurbished which has really opened the space up and given it a bit of life. They’ve done a great job. The reason I deducted the star was the downstairs toilet/baby changing and disabled was out of order for a very very long time. Months and months. I thought it should have been repaired as a matter of urgency however it dragged out which did put me off coming in for a while. I didn’t notice whether it was fixed this time or not.

Oscars Cafe
Easterton Farm Park, Craigallian Rd, MugdockUNFAIR REVIEW! As regular visitors to Oscar's, we enjoy the food, ambience and friendly staff at this cafe, so were saddened by the negative review left by HMcA on Thursday 17th August. We were present that day and would say, in the words of someone more famous, "recollections may vary". The cafe is undoubtedly child- friendly but it is fact that the noise level that lunchtime was horrendous and the waitress (a lovely lady btw) was entirely justified in asking for consideration for other customers (with or without children of their own). She did not deserve the rude and humiliating replies she received from these three mums, nor the nasty and sarcastic comments in their review. This trio have vowed never to return, for which we can all be truly thankful.

Bullands Coffee House
Mugdock Rd, Milngavie, GlasgowLovely little spot, almost hidden away from the high street. It has very unique interior features with beautiful little teddy bears fixed to the ceiling. My daughter loved it. The lady working there was a joy to chat with and the service was prompt. Just a nice little cafe for your lunch bites, toasties and coffee etc. It is a favourite for my family. Plenty of parking beside it and easy access. It’s definitely worth a try.
