Killearn Mill, KillearnLovely food and incredibly kind and helpful staff. I arrived after a long walk with a heavy, cumbersome backpack, with which I promptly knocked over a display! The staff couldn't have been nicer about this and then helped advise on options for lunch before bringing my order outside for me on a chilly, overcast winters day. I'd definitely recommend this much appreciated stop off.

The Old Mill
6 Balfron Rd, Killearn, GlasgowAmazing Wednesday Pub, this place is such a hidden gem! Only 40 minutes from Glasgow it was simply the best ribs I have had, the atmosphere, service and wit of the staff was second to none. If you’re looking for a place to warm yourself by a fire, steeped in history and the scenery to match you have to come to the old mill.

The new owners have knocked it out the park,an absolutely delicious lunch of steak ciabatta and French toast.
You definitely have to book by phone to ensure a table rather than just a walk in.
