We were there for my sister-in-law's birthday celebration. Everything was as good as it can be. We have been going there for some years with our family and friends.Kid-friendliness: My toddler was fine there

I’m really thankful for the team fitting me in on a very busy night.It did mean that I had to go upstairs which is the noisy part of the restaurant but I was happy with that. I’d already been turned away from one place. I’ve not been used to company for a couple of weeks as I’d been hiking, so it was kinda fun to hear all the banter.The girls looked after me really well, and brought my food out before the group table so it meant only a short wait. We had an early dinner here, we hadn't booked in advance but had over an hour before the next booking which was plenty time. I wanted lasagne but they didn't have any, so went with a chicken dish which was very good and generous portion. Husband had a pizza and thought the Italian sausage was a bit sparse. Reasonable value, if we visit the area again I would be happy to go back there.
