Went today Jan 2nd for afternoon tea with my friend salena. Lovely setting. Helpful staff. Constantly asking if we needed anything. Very relaxed as we both needed it . Came into dining room. Was met by two staff. The main lady was beautiful and helpful we chatted about history of the building. A friend made for life. Such a beautiful soul we chatted for some time. Its made my birthday. Such a beautiful, historic building. Staff are lovely andfood is delicious. Anyone can pop on for afternoon tea and scones, yum!! Best I've had. It is steeped in history, Mary Queen of Scots once came here.Safety: In a beautiful, almost secluded spot but not far from the Town of Musselburgh.
