Went to the East Coast for lunch for the very first time after seeing its excellent reviews on various sources. We had the set lunch menu - mussels (both tomato and white sauces) were amazing! We had an early evening meal here after the Musselburgh Races. We were finished a bit earlier than expected and the restaurant was happy to change the time of our booking. There was only two front of house staff and they were extremely efficient and organised. There is an extensive menu plus specials and a good choice of wine and other drinks. Lovely lunch with family. Fish was delicious, small portion is just the perfect size for a lunch, especially for the older family members in our party. Raspberry and vanilla cheesecake was delicious too. Missed Mido though! Always a pleasure to see him
