We came as part of a spa package - despite the restaurant being almost empty we were squeezed onto a table right by the door instead of by the windows and the lovely view. Everything ordered took a very long time to arrive - for some reason we repeatedly watched waiters delivering dishes to small tables in the corridor outside the restaurant and leaving them there for anything up to to ten minutes before taking them to diners while guests and staff walked back and forth past them....read full review

The food was ok, the selection a bit poor, but the staff was very good. Particularly one lady who was very polite and sociable, she told us some stories about the castle and how to find a hidden passage!
