Used to be an excellent shop. Used it a lot.However the last fish I had was dry and more batter than fish. Don't know if they'd swapped Haddock for Whiting for example. Put me off.Steak Pie & Chips last night wasn't great at all. The chips were cold and steak pie over fried, or at least maybe had been sitting in the heater for a fair amount of time.It'll be a while before I'm back.
Regularly get a delivery but tonight was very disappointing, cold when it arrived. Chicken nuggets and chips o.k but fish was extremely dry and tasteless like it had lain for some time and the chips were like they were from the bottom of the chip basket.

Was apprehensive about trying the chip shop after reading the reviews but so pleased we decided to try for ourselves. Just had fish suppers and WOW the fish was amazing, fresh ,crispy batter with great chips.
