What a lovely place this was. We had a function to attend at the other side of the village so arrived early to have a dawner around the sights of the village. The Red Lion had been suggested to us do we popped in for lunch. Staff were fab and attentive, menu was quite extensive. Portions were more than ample and the onion rings were just THE best. Price wise. For 2 mains, a side, 2 g&ts, a cider and a latte for under £50!!!! Brilliant. Desserts sounded amazing but our pudding...read full review

Arrived Friday lunchtime without booking and venue was very busy, lady at bar advised party where leaving and table would be ready within 5 minutes which it was. Food was brilliant, I got pepper pie and sticky toffee pudding, my daughter got the salted caramel/biscoffi sundae and absolutely loved it. Staff were lovely and venue very nice, if in the area I would definitely recommend popping in

Although the only pub/eatery in Culross it is excellent. We had a super bar lunch on a very busy weekend yet the service was great and the staff were cheerful. It was saved by the community and it's very well run.
