Guidos is my local chippy. I have shopped about chippies in nearby locations however I returned to Guidos as this is my favourite with good tasty food, always pleasant and friendly staff.Food is always freshly made with lovely crispy batter. Well I was very surprised tonight after reading the reviews I got the best fish n chips I have had in a long time. 2 good size bits of fish and perfectly fried and chips where good too. I am very fusy about my fish n chips too. Think it was the owner to night frying. Keep it up!Update had fish and chips and a buttered roll the fish was very greasey and the chips had no colour and where more like boiled than fried. The roll was stale and had soap or washing up liquid on the side....read full review

Superb fish and chips! I phoned in my order ahead of time and it was waiting for my collection. Very generous portion sizes, the batter on the fish was lovely and crispy, not at all greasy. Will definitely visit again.
