The hotel looked lovely from the outside, but had a lot of things that could be improved. At 11.30pm friends & I arrived back from a show (2 were cast members) & we wanted a drink. There was no one at reception, but there was a guy lounging on an arm chair, who it transpired worked on reception. He rudely said bar was closed. I asked to buy some crisps (a note had appeared saying it was closed and would reopen at 7am)! He didn’t know the price & said I could pay in the morning!...read full review
This hotel was quite disappointing considering how much it cost. We had a family room for myself, my husband, our 5 year old son and 8 month old daughter. The room itself was comfortable however our shower was broken and our room wasn't cleaned whilst we were there. We were only on a 2 night stay however as there were 4 of us I would have thought the room should have been cleaned. Booked this hotel for a two night stay for myself my husband and six family members for bed and breakfast (great breakfast choices). Didn't read any reviews at the time but had a look the week before we were due to stay and had second thoughts as many of the reviews were terrible.
