For a place that advertises itself as a 'tea room' in such a nice estate/garden I had much higher expectations. We called ahead to book afternoon tea. I expected proper loose-leaf tea served in nice china; a menu of different tea flavours; home baked goods; table linens and table service. None of those were offered in the afternoon tea exprience here. I was disappointed in the grocery store tea bags served in basic/metal tea pots.
