Came across Cafe48 while out for a drive and it’s now on the list of places to go back to. First up, a spacious car park with a couple of disabled bays close to the entrance. Inside, the tables allow for plenty of space which would accommodate wheelchair/rollator. A good menu of meals, light snacks and fine pieces and the prices are very reasonable. A nice community run cafe based inside the Pitmedden community centre. Inside is tastefully decorated with high back brown chairs and photos on the wall. It was a lovely day, so the choice was to eat using the outdoor seating. The front of the community centre has a garden, so it's actually quite pleasant sitting outside in addition to the sunshine. Lovely addition to the village eating scene and good to see the Linsmohr being used again , staff friendly and efficient and its very reasonably priced , I had the coronation chicken sandwich and a cappuccino , only complaint would be that the coronation mayo was too dry but the coffee was first class , will definitely be back to try a meal option.
