“Expect approximately 20 mins queuing in front of the restaurant before you get in. We walked around, the situation is similar for other good restaurants in Portree. It is unfortunate they don't take reservations.
The prices are set for 2 or 3 course dinner menu. The food is nice, good quality seafood. Expect that the menu will be different compared to what you see on Google considering the fish seasonability. You have a limited choice of 5-6 mains.
The service inside the restaurant was quick and polite. All together a good experience. The waiting is the biggest inconvenience.”

“Didn't stay here or eat here but had a swift pint with the locals discussing the state of the area. No one batted an eyelid, just welcoming but not in your face. A true local pub.”

“Quaint restaurant right on the water in Portree. Really good fresh seafood. Good proces. Super friendly staff. Be ready for a wait to get in on peak times. They are busy!”

“We give the highest vote to this place that saved our evening on a Sunday in August, in which, with the city full of tourists from all over the world, scandalously many restaurants in Portree were closing. This fish and chips instead was open, worked on Sundays, and cooked us some excellent food that we consumed on the street, in the middle of the midges. Congratulations also to the city of Portree (but isn't there all winter to keep it closed??)”

“Good quality food. Takes credit card and offers fair priced meals. Portions were large.
Service was very kind and welcoming.”

“Good experience, but adds an optional 12.5% service fee which is unusual and a bit higher than other places in the area. Just bundle it into the prices like everywhere else in Scotland.”
