We had a great experience there. We’re Americans, which was easy to tell, and staff treated us very well regardless. Being from Louisiana, my definition of fish and chips is very different than what I got in the UK. Prior to our visit to Cuchullin, I honestly thought I didn’t like fish and chips. We had a very lovely dinning experience at this restaurant. We tried the salmon with the noodles, the burger and the scallop risotto. For me the scallops were the best dish. Really worth the price as the portion was very generous and it was perfectly cooked. We also got the soup of the day, which was with apple and parsley. Very interesting tasting. Had to wait about an hour to get in on a Saturday night. The fish and chips I can definitely recommend, while the Scottish cheese platter is definite no-go - it's just 3 pieces of cheese and some extra fruits for 12 pounds, hardly seemed worth it.
