We came across The Old Kirk by pure chance on our first night while visiting the surrounding area near Buckie and Cullen for a week, the food that night was delicious the service personal and welcoming the calamari starter was the freshest I have eaten and cooked perfectly ….. it was so good we had to have a 2nd visit the day before we left the area this time we both had the monk fish and langoustine skewers which were divine melt in your mouth perfection. This is an excellent resturant. Great food, warm welcome and homely. The food is very fresh, well presented and delicious. The setting is idyllic and you have the option to eat in the main building or the cabins in the garden. Great place to go if you are staying in the areas around Portsoy, Cullen and Buckie. We highly recommend it .
