Great little stop on our way out of town. The owner was the friendliest Scot we have encountered on our trip and quite funny! The sticky toffee loaf was incredible, great caramel latte as well. Well worth the stop and we will definitely come back if we make it back to Scotland again.
Been a few times on my bike. Don’t normally leave reviews and even more reluctant for this little gem - want to keep it to myself! Great food, coffee, banter, music. In short - fab.

We stopped over this cafe in Rathos for a much needed cup of coffee, and we finally understood what the other reviewers meant by “great coffee and great banter”. Seriously, so stop by this cafe and have a chat with the proprietor. No matter how grey your day looks, it will definitely look better after that. I wish we could also have had lunch here since the food looked amazing, but hopefully we may have a chance to come back for lunch.
