Another excellent dinner - food wine service ambience. A modest exterior and non-pretentious approach but a pleasure. Eg when taking 101 year old mother in law for lunch, the staff have noticed her coming in from car park and opened the kitchen door to make it easier for her. We have been many times and never disappointed.
This was our fourth visit over a number of years ( we don’t live in St. Andrews) and once again we had an outstanding experience and I emphasise experience because it wasn’t just about the food but everything that makes this place an absolute pleasure to visit. The building itself is simple but gorgeous, peaceful and cozy with an air of calm. Absolutely first class delicious ?. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. 3 course prix fixe menu very reasonably priced. This is a small restaurant so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make a reservation. First class.
