I have been to this Hotel prior to it becoming part of the Karma chain and so have made direct comparison.This hotel is a Den of Tranquillity.Superb staff, managers Adam & Adele with Michelle staffing the desk were on hand and really knew their stuff regarding the Hotel (including the Whisky cellar), location and activities. Visited restaurant today: would give it six stars if I could. Great food - voted best hotel restaurant in Scotland - and excellent service.Food & drinks: Chef's specials are excellent.

Wonderful local pub with great food and wonderful staff. The menu is varied and unexpected for rural pub fare, which really makes it stand out amongst so many. Everything is delicious, so you really can’t go wrong.
