I am a very regular visitor to the Station Hotel for meals and events as I live locally. I think that it offers excellent value for money, generous portion sizes and good service. However what would take this dining experience up a notch would be some changes to the menu. Lovely friendly hotel,food excellent,staff friendly and helpful room although a wee bit dated was absolutely immaculate we had a great stay and would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family.
My Dad is Diabetic and we were in desperate need of some food before our train with only 25 minutes to spare, that staff were so helpful in making recommendations that were quick and warming after our visit to the castle, the food was delicious and quick and the staff were kind, helpful and thoughtful. Definitely recommend!
