Just back from annual few days in Stoney. As usual spent a couple of great afternoons in Troupers. Locals so friendly, fantastic cold beers. Jess the barmaid is fantastic- just don't play her at pool cos you will lose !
Last night I arranged last minute to meet some friends at Troupers bar. Thankfully it remains the institution it’s always been. Upon arrival I seen him across the room. Recently acquired perm flowing in the gentle draft from the door opening at irregular intervals. Jamie John Jamieson, the John being optional of course - standing at the bar as though he’d never left. Indeed a testament to what he think of troupers. First night out in ages, met up with a few guys I used to work with back in the day.Absolute hoot to be out.Somewhat shocked by the state of undress of some of the girls, I've been to strip clubs and seen less flesh . . . I'll be back ?
