Myself and partner went with our 1 year old daughter to Ardaniaseig hotel for a treat for her birthday, via a good 5pm deal. First of all, they were excellent when changing the dates the day we were supposed to arrive, due to my daughter's ill health. After reading diverse reviews (both superb and negative) I was quite curious at what to expect.In the end I really loved this place with the fires burning in the fireplaces, the classy yet individual interior and colour choices in the public spaces, the tasty food and the welcoming and very friendly staff (one even gave us diverse tips on what to do and was very knowledgeable about the area).The views are fantastic and a stroll in the gardens (wellies are complimentary) feels...read full review
The property is stunning, and the historical hotel building is beautiful. We had a room with a view and could not get enough of the mesmerizing lake and mountain scenery. All the staff were also very nice and friendly. However, the hotel property itself could use some love and care.
