I'm in a charitable mood so I will give 3 out of 5 stars. The hotel has clearly seen better days but it was reasonably clean and the staff are nice enough. The decor is in need of re-doing. There is a general lack of freshness. The furniture in the room is functional, however the TV is comically small and not much bigger than an Ipad. It's a rather large hotel with corridors leading everywhere. Perhaps it could re-invent itself as a haunted version of faulty towers. But anyway...read full review
The staff here are very accommodating …… the hotel is a little dated but under new ownership so work in progress . The room was clean & comfortable and the food was excellent and great value , breakfast was included in the price , free car parking …. so all in all a great place to stay that won’t break the bank .
I stayed here July5th/6th as part of my coach trip doing theNc500. Ive read previous reviews that were not that positive!! Yes it is very tired inside, my room had a shower that was rather cold, but i understand it is slowly being renervated. My room was very clean. The young waiters/waitresses were all so lovely. Evening meals were fine. Breakfast was very unorganised and you werent offered a choice of hot breakfast, just had what you were given... I found all the staff very...read full review
