We rocked up just 4 minutes before they stopped serving food but there was no hint of grumpiness about that at all. Very welcoming. Food was hearty and tasty- the fish and chips a particular highlight.
Like many other people, we were going to 'use' Scrabster just as a springboard for Orkney and Shetland; but due to a railway strike, we decided to go a day early and spend two days there before starting out on our island trip. And what a perfect place to get into the holiday mood! Amazing meal with a breathtaking view? Staff were so friendly and attentive! Wide range of local, fresh fish but many another options aswell , etc their locally famous steaks. Definitely would recommend and can’t wait for our next visit.
