If you’re looking for a warm cosy tearoom for breakfast or brunch, then this is the place to be!

Me and my partner got a table for 2 at 10.15. It was quite busy with people coming and going so I recommend booking a table to be safe.

Food
The pancakes with chocolate spread was lovely and warm. The sweet chilli chicken and cheese panini was very tasty aswell.
They have a wide selection of fresh cakes, tray bakes and scones so I had to takeaway a slice of banana loaf! (delicious by the way)

Service
Our server, Shelagh, and the rest of the staff were very kind and welcoming. Fast service with a smile and positive attitude.

Atmosphere
I love the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ type theme. The mismatched plates and cups were unique and the overall place had a cute whimsy vibe.

Could not fault this place at all, would definitely come back and highly recommend if visiting near by☺️

Penny Licks

Out of this world good. Definitely one of the best iv ever had in my life. It was worth a drive there. We had the old fashion vanilla. It was so good, could have had another scoop of this!

The Riverside - Pub, Kitchen & Coffee House

Great spot for dinner or lunch. It was quite busy but we got a table right by the river on the outdoor patio.

A lovely location with some beautiful walks after your meal. We loved this village.

The Inn at Muckhart

Lunch was outstanding, as was the service. The staff were incredibly kind, humble, and genuinely cheerful — truly a pleasure to be around. A huge thank you to them for their excellent service and to the chef for such amazing talent. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a positive dining experience. I will definitely be back again.

Crown Inn

Stopped in for a pint on the way to stenhousemuir football from larbert station. Limited selection of drinks; beer, lager or Guinness. A few old boys chatting and watching racing on tv

Woolpack Inn

Great little pub, welcoming and dog friendly with well kept real ales, usually locally sourced and changed regularly. Couple of smaller rooms off the main bar for privacy.

Bakers + Baristas

I had a wonderful experience at Bakers + Baristas today! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the selection of treats looked incredible, but what really made my visit stand out was the service.
I was served by Vikki, who was absolutely brilliant. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to receive such genuine, high-quality service, and she truly brightened my day.
The coffee was perfect and the food was delicious, but Vikki’s Great attitude is the reason I’ll be coming back. Highly recommended!

Bridge Bar

Cracking wee pub, clean, well laid out and furnished, nice atmosphere and staff really nice too, offering to put the football on for us and asking what game we wanted to watch. Will definitely be back, lovely place. Didn't have any food do not sure if they do food

Royal Arms

Lovely wee pub, we walk from a neighbouring village to go in ,staff are friendly and the pub is very dog friendly giving treats and bowls of water to our dog friend, the locals are very welcoming and friendly, good prices as well ?

My little girl dont like chippy's at the best of the time because ther are too greasy.... But she ate every bit of her pizza supper. The chicken pakora out if this world amazing. Could not fault any of it.

Volunteer Arms

Staff behind the bar were friendly and welcoming. The cost of a pint of Guinness must be the dearest in the town. I attended on their local jam night which was entertaining. Plenty of different instruments on display.

I really enjoy a nice hot sausage inside me in the morning. They are lovely and warm and I really like the way it fills me. Sometimes I have 2 but it can be a bit messy once the butter starts to drip so ask for some napkins

Costa Coffee

I came here on Friday lunchtime. The queue was literally out the door, so it must be a popular spot. After waiting about 10 minutes to get served, we were lucky to get a table as it was packed inside. We got cheese & ham toasties and they were fine, and we also got a coffee which was nice too. It was quite pricey, but that's standard with Costa. The staff were doing a really good job and the place was clean & tidy inside. We would come back again.

The Mill Cafe

Great fish and chips. Well presented with tartar sauce. Choice of salad or peas. Made fresh, not frozen chips. Bleeper alerts when food is ready. Cakes scones and desserts choice substantial. Various seating choices and outdoor too for furry friends.

The Bridge Inn

Beautiful venue. The food was truly outstanding. Quality and quantity are great. 5 of us were there and everyone enjoyed their starters and mains. We found it excellent value. The staff are great too. They were very helpful and really good at their job.
