After finding it impossible to book tables for my wife's 40th for 20+ guests at other pubs, my sister suggested the Red Lion in Bomere Heath because she'd heard they'd recently started serving food.I called the pub and spoke to Sparky, explained my requirements and he told me that it would not be a problem, even though they didn't normally do food on a Sunday evening he would for us. What a lovely pub on a Sunday afternoon after a 5 mile walk round the local countryside. You can't go wrong with Joule's! Friendly staff and landlord who remembered us from our last visit a month ago. Top beer plus the lovely Lakota! Sunny outdoor garden seating area with friendly cheerful locals. We will be back!
