A5, Montford Bridge, ShrewsburyMust have passed this place a hundred times and not realised what a great place it is to stop and eat. Food was excellent and the weather was good enough to sit outside. You wouldn't even know this place is anywhere near the A5 as it was peaceful. Will definitely go again.

Churncote Farm, Welshpool Rd, Bicton Heath, ShrewsburyVery nice place to stop at on the way to Wales. The prices are maybe a little high and the peri chicken we had didn't have any spice to it. But it's was fresh and still tasty enough.

The Layby, ShrewsburyBeen stoping here for ever on way to West Wales. Half way when I used to live in Walsall, staff always remember me and Kevin my dog. Sausage and egg bap and a mug of tea and without asking kevin gets a Sausage cut up for him. 11/10.

The Wingfield Arms
Old London Road, Montford Bridge, ShrewsburyLooks run down but I love the feel and vibe of it. Big parking at the back with a run down playground.. benches and tables for outside dinning and drinks. They have a restaurant that serves food on friday, sat and afternoon on sunday. So far their menu is quite affordable..cozy homy place.

Ford Fish Bar
Welshpool Rd, ShrewsburyCredit where it's due, this was one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Good portions and very tasty. The fish and chips were both spot on and freshly cooked and VERY hot.
