Went for a meal at the Castle Hotel and ordered the Halloumi Orzo Bake. It took a while to find someone to seat us, and when the food arrived I can only assume the veg in the bake was frozen as it was quite mushy, overcooked and under seasoned. The salad on the side was also very acidic, albeit a generous portion. The garlic ciabatta was very good. Although the price was reasonable and the portion sizes were good, the quality of the food was not as good as hoped. It took a while to be seated and to get the bill, although the service staff were all very lovely and welcoming. The dining area was also nicely furnished, clean and comfortable although a bit noisy due to some work happening outside. It has the potential to be brilliant but the food needs improvement.

A very quiet village, but the hotel was the hub of it. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The garden was very pleasant. We had lunch, which was very nice and a nice choice on the menu.
