Fantastic outside area with a campsite just up the road. Plenty of tables inside and out. Live music added to the ambience. Lager choice was okay, but not amazing. The gin and tonic was served with just a few bits of ice which wasn't great (and never food when as a drink it costs so much these days). Would definitely go back and would try the food next time. Would have given five stars if the gin and tonic was served better.
Best location in Bishops Castle with a lovely garden with great views. Menu offered interesting choices and food was well presented. Dogs welcome in the garden and bar area of the restaurant. Car parking available.Food & drinks: Starters and desserts around the £8 mark. Mains around £15.Vegetarian and vegan options

A lovely hotel to stay in, warm, friendly, cosy, amazing views from the beautiful gardens, the garden is exceptional.Cosy rooms, great team, lovely owner Henry.Dinner was great, best steak & Ale pie ever, 10/10.Great breakfast choicesBishops Castle is a gorgeous little town with interesting quirky shops, you really do feel away from it all.I will definitely visit again
