Castle Hotel
Market Square, Bishop's Castle, Bishops CastleSunday lunch is quite good but with improvement to service could be really good . Meal was not hot despite a request for it to be hot and drinks order was not taken at the table so ordered from the bar. Request for a small meal was also disregarded. Staff are very pleasant

The Poppy House
20 Market Square, Bishops CastleGluten free sicky toffee pudding and custard is Coeliac heaven. Slightly old fashioned vibe but in the sense of serving good food and providing friendly helpful service. Sat upstairs and kept finding new seating areas.

Dragons Lair
13 Market Square, Bishops CastleAnother excellent meal, Cantonese Chicken, Salt & Pepper Ribs, Chicken Chow Mein with Chips and a side of Curry Sauce. All the food was fresh & tasty, between 3 of us the Bill came to £23.70, very reasonable for the quality & quantity of food provided. Lovely family who run the business with great staff, keep it up.

The Three Tuns Inn
Salop St, Bishops CastleWe ate Sunday lunch here after a long dog walk. Advisable to book. We eat out a lot. Whitebait and goats cheese starters followed by 2 excellent roast beef dinners. Good flavoured beef and all the veg had just the right amount of crunch. 3 big roast potatoes each. Big plates and plenty of it so go with an appetite. No skimping on portions here. Nice bottle of red wine. Very dog friendly at all the tables. Lovely young staff serving with a smile.

The Ganges
12 Market Square, Bishops CastleI ate here last night with a friend and we both thought the food was excellent but at a reasonable price. About £15pp for poppadoms, starter, main meal and side dish. Be aware though, they don't serve alcohol, that's no problem, you pop down to the coop and get what you want at a fraction of the cost you'd normally pay.
