I had a great impromptu stay at The White Horse while travelling in bad weather. Jack and team were super welcoming, and I had a great night's sleep in a lovely, warm room. Top marks for delicious vegan options too!
We had the pleasure of stumbling upon this fantastic pub while staying at a cabin a few miles away.We grabbed a meal while starving and it was superb!We were so impressed we booked in for sunday lunch, which was just lovely.The staff could not be more friendly. The girls serving were so polite.2 of our party left this morning hoping to grab a breakfast before the long drive back to liverpool. Stopped for food and drinkies. One of the most friendly pubs. Lovely staff and lovely food. Well done everyone!!!!Food & drinks: Great menu with pub favourites and some really original dishes. Steak and kidney pudding with rich gravy impressed all. Also chef knows how to cook a well-decent steak! Bravo ?
