Staff and food as great as each other. Chef and his Wife Abby are a great laugh. Shaylee is also amazing, always polite and super smiley! Food and coffee lush, I had coronation chicken and a oat milk mocha.

Food is always delicious here. Very healthy, well presented and imaginative. The garden is sketching place to have lunch in Summer.Vegetarian options: Always much better than the usual vegetation option of quiche alone!

Visited Friday Midday before the special sold out,{always popular) it was a delicious Tandoori Chicken on nan with Mango Chutney ,lettuce ,onion, and a zingy Lemon mayo, Just writing this making my mouth water. My partner loves the homemade Gourmet Sausage Rolls if he is not with me have to get him a takeaway, (and not eat it on the way home ) Food always delicious, and lots of choice .

Fantastic choice of food. Ranging from Homemade soup, chefs home smoked brisket , locally made sausage, freshly baked bread, homemade scones just to name just a few items. Gluten free clients and those with special dietry needs all catered for. A lovely warm atmosphere and staff who show care and respect for the clients. A lovely cosy place to stop and enjoy a snack or a more full filling meal. A place where you don't want to leave, especially on a chilly winters day. A welcoming smile and greeting awaits anyone who chooses to visit this gem of a place. You'll always want to return. You'll not be disappointed.

Welcoming cafe. There are steps. It is an old building. Cakes wow. Black forest cheesecake wow. Scone with jam and cream perfection. 4 or so steps to toilet. On street parking. Wonderful place.

We visited passing through for lunch. The Manger/Owner wasn’t very customer friendly, maybe because we weren’t regulars/local, as other customers that she knew were given a more friendly service. Interesting that a similar comment was made on a recent review in August. The food was ok, however I am dubious about the supposed “local specialty” sausage, they looked and tasted like normal supermarket chipolata sausages. The best part of the meal was the baguette, that was very tasty and fresh.

We dropped in after finding the happy bap just on the high street. The baguette was super fresh, really tasty and sausage roll came with a dip and also tasted delicious. The choc orange sponge cake was just the one of the best cakes we’ve had. A really great cafe! Loved it.

One of the most amazing cafes I've been to. The bap were the freshest and yummiest bread just perfect. We don't normally have cake when out as I'm always disappointed but we were tempted to try the chocolate orange cake it was delicious! So light and full of flavour. The Victoria sponge looked great too. Hubby had the sausage roll and home made chilli dip and said it was lovely too. And very reasonable priced. Perfect spot after having a mooch around the very quaint and unusual Bishops castle,
