We ate Sunday lunch here after a long dog walk. Advisable to book. We eat out a lot. Whitebait and goats cheese starters followed by 2 excellent roast beef dinners. Good flavoured beef and all the veg had just the right amount of crunch. 3 big roast potatoes each. Big plates and plenty of it so go with an appetite. No skimping on portions here. Nice bottle of red wine. Very dog friendly at all the tables. Lovely young staff serving with a smile.

Atmospheric old pub attached to a very long established brewery.Three very well kept real ales on tap along with the usual suspects on the lager etc front.Didn't eat there but probably will do.

Popped into the Three Tuns during our stay in Bishops Castle for a drink.Great beer and lovely inside.Did not have any food but seemed plenty of options.

The food was lovely. Definitely book a table as they get super busy. A wonderfully rustic old pubParking: It was a Saturday night so the parking wasn’t easy. We parked on the high street and walked. If you park at the bottom it’s quite a hill to walk up.

Quite a cosy pub. We visited for a drink after wandering around the town. Probably could have done with the fire on, given that it is only February, to make it a bit cosier.

Absolutely gorgeous pub with fantastic food and nice staff. I could not recommend this enough. We had the lamb steaks and belly pork which were excellent.

Called in after a long winters walk for a warm lunch, started by ordering 2 soft drinks, both were very flat and we're served in water stained glasses. We then sat hoping to eat and wasn't asked if we wanted to eat so we asked for menus. After looking at menus we were told that there were several things missing off the menu, which was fine but our final decision not to eat in the pub was how cold it was there. Neither of us were able to take our coats off we were that cold so decided not to eat in this environment. Which is such a shame to lose customers due to this especially as they have 3 beautiful log burners that could be used. It's a shame they aren't using the times we are in with several places to eat closed due to the time of year to encourage customers.
What a shame. Once a great pub with good food and beer now a shadow of itself. Only one Tuns beer on, apparently they are in dispute with the brewery. Food was poor, the chips seemed like oven cooked chips. The Fish was average. The staff were poorly dressed and one looked unclean and they were more interested in the day's gossip then serving people. Had to chase to order and again to pay. It was very dirty - cobwebs, dust and behind the bar was scruffy, full litter and disgusting. What a real shame. I don't like putting negative reviews up but this was my favourite pub, and management need to get a grip.

Beer was good but staff hygiene needs reviewing.. The bar man happened to use the toilets at the same time as my husband and he did NOT wash his hands before going back behind the bar, which is pretty disgusting. Also I went to the ladies later on and the toilets were an absolute disgrace. The floor of all the cubicles was wet through, covered in soiled toilet paper and there was a distinct smell of vomit in my cubicle. They were terrible. Clearly no staff member was checking the cleanliness on a regular basis. It's things like this that stop people returning.....

Didn't try the food but the ale is great. Great service at the bar and the pub was warm and comfortable.
