Beautiful old pub, lots of character and history, staff are lovely, food is amazing, the atmosphere was a little too loud to be comfortable with especially if you have special needs, but it's not always like this, week days are quieter, I really enjoy coming here, will most definitely keep coming back. Prices are reasonable too.

From the moment we walked into the pub to the moment we left we where greeted by a friendly and welcoming team. Who where second to none and could not be faulted .The pub was a cozy and full of character and with a large beer garden at the heart of the pub . With a great selection of Ales, beers and ciders on offer.The food was beautiful and freshly cooked on site and with a generous portion. As well as an absolutely Bostin pie. Would highly recommend it.

We booked our table as it was our Wedding Anniversary. We left a message on the answer phone and the next day we received a call back. The lady was really friendly and accommodating and gave me all the information I needed. We arrived at the agreed time and were shown to our table. For the whole time we were there all staff were courteous, friendly and couldnt do enough. The food came quickly considering it is all home cooked. It was amazing.
