I visited with family for lunch this weekend and we were really impressed - the service was exceptional, especially from Pip who was welcoming and very attentive. The food was great and we also enjoyed the local ale! Thank you, and we can’t wait to return.

Very welcoming for all ages and abilities-with an interesting menu of great choice which was well presented. Highly recommend if you want something that’s above the norm.Wheelchair accessibility: Staff catered for easy mobility of the wheelchair occupant allowing them to actually sit at the table with the wheelchair close at hand. The soup was presented in a mug (as requested) for ease of use by the disabled guest.

What a find!! Stunning food that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin-star restaurant!! Highly recommended to visit.
Went for xmas eve 3 course lunch with our neighbours. They are vegetarian, we are not, and we all agreed that our meal was superb in every way. Creative, packed full of flavour and beautifully presented, all 3 courses were a delight, and a wonderful start to Christmas.Plus you get to look out onto the highlight of Ludlow, its 11th century castle.

A sequence of small quiet rooms full of historic charm, ideal if you find lots of places too noisy with music, clattering kitchen noises or echoey space.Very friendly staff, nice for afternoon tea and cakes.

This is a really lovely place to eat and drink. Very tasty food and beautiful views of Ludlow Castle from the indoors and outdoors seating areas. Good choices on the menu, plus very good on vegan/vegetarian options for those with allergen requirements.
