Just taken my mum here for Sunday lunch for her 80th birthday meal, menu is new every Sunday as all freshly cooked. Exciting menu using locally sourced ingredients, this isn’t just average pub food but they still serve the traditional roasts with all the trimmings!! Even dog friendly as well so could take my Spaniel with me! I highly recommend the lamb kofta scotch egg if it’s on the menu when you visit! We visited for a friend's hen do late lunch. The food was delicious. The service was attentive and so well organised. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and inviting. The pre ordering was smooth and they dealt so well with such a big group. I wish I had a local like this - I'd be in it all the time! Would highly recommend.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Perfect portion size. Beef cooked nice and pink. Veggie alternative very nice also. Cake and poached pear dessert was equally excellent. Will gladly be back!
