Holyhead Rd, ShrewsburyWent for tootle round Nescliffe, googled cafe near me and boy am I glad! The best fry up I’ve had in years! Normally I hold back a bit of it to treat the dog, poor Poppy went without this time as I demolished the lot.
Can’t wait to make it our post walk food ritual!

Memorial Hall,, Church St, Ruyton-XI-Towns, ShrewsburyMy cousin lives down the road so took me here for lunch. Thank goodness I don’t live here, I’d be in every day, first class coffee, delicious sandwich and such great service. So envious of my cousin having this cafe on her doorstep.

Q22P+4X, Edgerley, OswestryStunning location on the river Severn - loved the riverside pod dining tables. Great range of ales on tap. Staff couldn't have been more helpful when friend need to get back to Shrewsbury unexpectedly. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

The Cross Keys
Kinnerley, OswestryFirst time coming here, last minute booking for my birthday for 2 people. Easy online booking on website. Arrived to a lovely well presented country pub with bar and restaurant area in a quiet rural location. Had three courses. Food was outstanding, service super friendly and attention to detail was spot on. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back soon!

Church St, Ruyton-XI-Towns, ShrewsburyGreat Real pub. Excellent atmosphere and good quality food. The staff are friendly and helpful, it has a good selection of real ales. It is popular perhaps because the locals are welcoming and convivial.
