I have only one complaint. The bed in the cottage was so hard. The hotel is gorgeous and I would recommend it to everyoneNearby activities: The sculptures park is so close a day can be enjoyed there. Oswastry has good shops and cafes
Excellent friendly staff. Immaculate hotel and grounds. Plenty of outdoor seating of many types. Our dog loved the wooded area for a short walk. An ideal base for visiting tourist attractions. Lovely venue for a function.

My fourth party night at The Sweeney and it was wonderful. Food amazing and great music. Stayed over this time in the east wing which was beautiful. Breakfast fantastic too. Christmas isn’t Christmas without a visit to The Sweeney.
