“This was a brilliant place to say halfway on our journey to a holiday in Wales. A spacious quiet room with a big very comfortable bed. Mike was a friendly host who cooked us a lovely breakfast and advised us of things we could could do while in the area. One was to visit the local RAF museum, which was really interesting, so very grateful for that information. Would definitely recommend.”

The waitresses were nothing but excellent very attentive and friendly and the food was simply super tasty- and they put parsnips to the veg bonus! 5 star recommendWent again 11/11/2023 for my mums birthday and had to come and write how again Izabel excelled in serving us. She is extremley friendly and wonderful nothing too much trouble and very on the ball with serving all tables often alone and going above and beyond. Another lovely meal. Can recommend the salon and prawn bloody Marie salad starter and the lamb shank main. Thank you”

“We stayed locally and walked here. What a great find!Very welcoming despite being "outsiders".Great choice of beers at good prices.We ate here Friday night and had the home made pie. Unbelievable! Huge portion of absolutely gorgeous food.We even cancelled our Saturday night booking at our hotel and returned here for more pie.It was a different pie and even more gorgeous than the previous evening.To put it into perspective, two huge portions of home made steak and red wine pie, chunky chips and peas, came to the same cost as one steak in our hotel.No brainer!Eat here, it's the best pub food you'll ever experience at a price you won't believe.Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed in the back roomWheelchair accessibility: Accessible”

“It's not somewhere I would usually go to. Down to the fact I'm getting too old for partying. Called in late one sat night. It cost a few quid to get in which was fair enough. Staff were o.k and so were the prices for drinks. The atmosphere was good with a few suspicious suspects. The music played was house, funky house, dance. A decent selection of music. The crowed was mostly under 30. I'll be honest I had a really really good time busting out some moves on the dance floor. My taxi was booked but I wish I could if stayed a bit longer..”
