Excellent, well presented, delicious food. Good choice without being pretentious. Service was perfect….attentive without being intrusive. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant evening meal for our family “get together”. Can highly recommend . Thank you for an enjoyable visit.
5 of us went for my birthday meal. The food and service were first class, and there was nothing too much trouble for the staff. Generous portions of scrummy food, and some nice ales.Vegetarian options: Good choice for us non meat eaters.Parking: Felt safe and spacious.

Lovely little local pub close to where we stayed in Hook-a-gate, made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. Service was very attentive, friendly and polite. Food was excellent and portions were generous with very reasonable prices! Would definitely return and recommend. Thankyou to the team ?
