Booked as a family of 4 adults and 1 child. Decor lovely, staff attentive and professional. We had a camembert starter, a kids scampi, fish n chips, lamb Henry, Gammon steak and a beef Balti. It was nice don't get me wrong, my meal I thought was mediocre (I had the camembert and the lamb) the camembert was nice and perfectly runny in the middle. Good standard of food for a hotel. Mackerel mousse and crackers with a dressed side salad was very nice. Hot, fluffy chips too.Pleasant staff a bonus.Vegetarian options: A decent choice of vegetarian dishes, including for children.

Really enjoyed our meal. I had chilli con carne and my husband had the pie which was steak, red wine and mushroom.Our desserts were cherry cheesecake and trifle.The meals were really tasty, service was good. Have been 3 times before and not had a bad meal or experience
