Amazing food and very friendly and attentive staff. A modern Indian set in a old police house. My young daughter was unsure whether to order Indian food as spice scares her, she decided on fish n chips from the kids menu, they very kindly offered to give her a rice and tandoori chicken taster on the side which she very much enjoyed, great touch!
If you are in Ironbridge this is a definite go to place to eat. The old police station retains many original features but also serves up fantastic food. The waiter was excellent and gave us good advice on the dishes and the chef did not disappoint. A contemporary restaurant that is steeped in history, a perfect setting for a great meal.

Despite the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor we wanted to try Pondi's ourselves. The food was delicious (chicken Madras and lamb sag mayam) and well worth the extra money in our opinion. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and the meat was succulent. The building and environment was also lovely. The food service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed, which was nice to see, and everyone was eating at one.
